Compared to the current C 350, the new saloon consumes more than ten percent less fuel. At the same time, the innovative V6 engine delivers 15 percent more power and already meets future EU5 emission limits. Track Events for AMG Mercedes-Benz Tnthisiasts

There are two upcoming track events for AMG Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts.

September 15, 2008
A group of AMG enthusiasts are heading to Roebling Road Raceway (Bloomingdale, GA) on Monday September 15, 2008. Audi enthusiasts are also invited. The event includes a full day of open track but registration is limited to only 25 attendees. The 2.02-mile Roebling Road asphalt road course consisting of nine turns is located just 20 miles from downtown Savannah, Georgia. Details here.

October 24-28, 2008
The Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) South Jersey Section is hosting a national driving event in Millville, New Jersey on October 24-28, 2008. Drive your Mercedes-Benz like it was built to be driven - Coaching by Trained Instructors! Registration is now open for this event - details here.

 

Concorso Celebrating the Art of the Automobile

Charity Event Supports the USO
Baltimore, Maryland - September 6th & 7th, 2008

“The Concorso: Celebrating the Art of the Automobile” is proud to announce our fourth annual event with two days of fund raising, parties, music, driving, art, and food to benefit the USO, supporting our men and women in uniform. The theme this year is Celebrating the Art of the Automobile and will explore the artistic and sculptural forms of the transportation industry.  This was formally the Concorso Italia and is still lead by the founders, Jonathan Kendall and Dave Born.
 
Here’s the rundown of the weekend:

Saturday, September 6th. “Road Rally”. Afternoon event segment. Starts at Maserati of Baltimore.

Saturday, September 6th. “Wings and Wheels” evening event segment. Location: Signature Flight Support in the BWI general aviation facility.

Jets, military aircraft, motorcycles, cars, live entertainment , food, drinks and much more.

Sunday, September 7th. 4th annual “The Concorso: Celebrating the Art of the Automobile” final event segment. Location: Cordish Company’s exceptional Power Plant Live! located at Market Place and Water Street.
