Mercedes-Benz is advertising in the Super Bowl for the first time, laying the groundwork for an unprecedented year with five new model launches. Aggressively styled and bristling with innovative technology, four of these new models will be featured — two of them making their world debut in the 60 second spot called “Welcome.” Watch past, present and future converge in an iconic journey to welcome the new members of the Mercedes-Benz family. The Super Bowl ad will run during the fourth quarter.

   Fellow MBCA member, Ed Johnson, informed me that the 1969 280SL breaking through the barn door is now owned by MBCA Nashville Section president Randy Bibb. 64,000 mile one owner from the Classic Center. Perfect in every way.
